My name is Melissa. I am 29 years old. My occasional meth use turned into a nasty day-in day-out six year addiction. I never thought my meth use would lead to losing everything that was important to me in my life. I lost my children and as if that was not enough meth use took the life of the love of my life and father of my son back in May of this year. I now share a story of hope and strength about my battle with meth because now that it is all said and done, I have come out on the winning end of this addiction. It is very difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel after being arrested, in jail, losing your children or more but I am living proof that no matter what this drug addiction has made of your life that it is possible to beat it and move on and reach that light at the end of the tunnel.
