My boyfriend's mom used to do meth all the time. I got with him 3 years ago when she started using. At first I thought she was just crazy. It wasn't until months after I started to realize what she was up to. When she was awake she was always really high strung and always freaking out about the "bugs" that were everywhere. She would pick at her skin until it bled and left scars. She was picking out "bugs" which was really just her hair. She said the "bugs" came from Africa and somehow followed her from house to house. She took straight ammonia and Clorox bleach baths. And constantly combed her hair into a tight greasy bun. They were in and out of houses and apartments and worst of all dirty motels. She had no job and sold whatever she had for more meth. The only food in the house was peanut butter and sugar. Sometimes milk and kool-aid. She Suran-wrapped the entire house one time and then put this fiber glass sea shell powder over every square inch of the house. "It cuts up the bugs", she always said. And when she would come down of her high she would sleep for days straight. She refused to take my boyfriend to school. She ended up pregnant and finally stopped using meth. She resorted to pills and alcohol though as a crutch. She is still crazy... Trust me after watching someone destroy themselves like that you don't ever want to try meth.
